Privacy Policy

In this document, the purposes and methods of processing of personal data which Madame Adassa has collected from its own customers (hereinafter the “Data”) are described below:

The data “controller”

The data controller is Madame Adassa, Inc., 

 

Processing purposes

Data is collected, used, processed, and disclosed, with prior express consent, for commercial and marketing purposes (e.g. reports and newsletters sent via post, e-mail or SMS on collections or invitations to events) and for executing profiling activities so that we can suggest the products, services and events which respond best to customers’ personal tastes and requirements.

Data is processed by electronic means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the objectives for which that data has been collected.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent losses and illegal or incorrect use of data, or non-authorized access.

 

Compulsory or facultative communication of data

The provision of data is not compulsory. However, customers who do not provide data shall not be able to receive invitations, information and business proposals

Subjects who may have access to data

Data may be collected, used, communicated, disclosed and processed by and/or to:

– Other companies of the Group,

– Service providers,

– Employees and consultants of Madame Adassa Inc., who are duly appointed by Madame Adassa, Inc., as data processors or as persons in charge of the processing.

Data subject’s rights

Customers have the right to obtain information about their personal data which is in the possession or under the control of Madame Adassa, Inc., and to be informed of its content and origin, to verify its accuracy, to request additions, updates, or amendments, and to be informed about the ways in which their personal data has been or may have been used or disclosed by Data Controller within the timeframe provided by the applicable law.

Customers also have the right to request the deletion, conversion to an anonymous form, or restriction of any data processed in violation of the law, or to oppose its processing.

Requests should be made in writing and can be emailed to us.

Right to access personal data and other rights

1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.

2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed

a) Of the source of the personal data;

b) Of the purposes and methods of the processing;

c) Of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;

d) Of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated as per Section 5(2);

e) Of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain


a) Updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;

b) Erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;

c) Certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

4. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part

a) On legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

b) To the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.”
